A year ago I was gearing up for my second Spartan Race. I was at Citizen's Bank Park checking my phone for results to be posted from the 2014 Spartan Race Championships at Killington. I vowed that next year I would be on that massive mountain that was known to steal souls. A year later I was in the starting coral at Killington. I had three goals that morning: #1 – Earn my triple trifecta. #2 – Cross the finish line in one piece. #3 – Get my team to the finish line. While lately I have been running competitively, my coach and I agreed it was best I took Killington easily after giving everything I had the previous weekend at the NJ Super. To be honest, I wasn’t recovering well from NJ. I had 8 strips of KT tape split up on my back, calves and ankles that week. I had put in a few light workouts and was hoping for the best.
