I was always an active kid, I grew up playing soccer, basketball, and riding horses. I was rather accident-prone and suffered many injuries that I would recover from quickly and get right back to being active. In 2004, I fell off a horse and bulged a disc in my spine which wasn't properly diagnosed for over 6 months. I rehabbed the injury and went about my life, accepting the fact that I would always have some stiffness in my lower back. When I graduated college in 2012, I started a desk job and began getting into obstacle course races (OCR). I started having flare-ups in my lower back in 2014. After a hard fall or extremely intense event, my lower back would cease up and I wouldn't be able to stand up straight.
