I count calories. I use My Fitness Pal (MFP). And I could ramble on and on and on about calorie deficits, macros, and things like TDEE and BMR. This is knowledge I've gained through working with dietians, MFP, and Google. I am certainly not oblivious to the fact that I could stand to lose quite a few more pounds. I know it will make me healthier and a stronger athlete.
